November 2, 2016
On November 2nd, 2016 the Delta Delta Chapter of Phi Delta Chi celebrated its first Founder’s Day in Gainesville, FL. All 42 brothers and special guests gathered at The Bartram apartment complex to have dinner and reflect upon our successes as a chapter.
Our Worthy Prelate, Alex Hagan, opened the evening with a heartwarming poem toasting each brother’s individual achievements and contributions to Phi Delta Chi over the past year. What followed was a delicious dinner catered by Olive Garden and hours of laughter as we further strengthened our bonds as brothers of Phi Delta Chi.
Additional activities included a photo booth with homemade props made by brothers Jackie Carranza, Sara Wu, and Haley Johstono, in addition to a Founders Day banner and balloons. Douglas Tam was on hand with his camera to take plenty of photographs to commemorate the occasion.
A special thank you to the 2015-2016 Social Committee for planning such a fun and successful first Founders Day for the Delta Delta chapter!
